Foresight Group Acquires Goetzcraft Printing in Ann Arbor.

ANN ARBOR, June 8, 2016 — Foresight Group is pleased to announce a merger with Goetzcraft Printers, Inc., a long-time leader in the Ann Arbor printing industry. For more than five generations, Goetzcraft has been providing high-quality offset printing services to clients throughout Southeast Michigan, and with the long history of Foresight Group, the combined company will be able to offer customers more than 100 years of experience.

“We are very aware of the long-standing positive reputation of the Goetzcraft brand, and are honored that this will now be a part of Foresight Group,” said Bill Christofferson, president of Foresight Group. “Goetzcraft customers can expect a continuation of the same service and support they have been receiving for years.” Goetzcraft president J. Lawrence Goetz echoed that sentiment. “This is a great opportunity for our customers to gain immediate access to additional products and services. By combining with Foresight Group, we are able to satisfy a broad range of communications and imaging needs that meet the demands of today’s marketing expectations.” In addition to their existing offset capabilities, customers can now turn to Foresight Group for mailing, large format display graphics, and promotional products.

Having already established a sales and support presence in the Ann Arbor market with the acquisition of Huron Valley Printing and Imaging in 2011, printing and production operations with the addition of White Pine Printers in October of 2014, this further increases the services offered in the Ann Arbor market. Britton Goetz is remaining with the company, as are the support and production members on staff. Christofferson said Foresight Group aims to minimize any changes and interruptions to the existing relationships and operations. “We really see this opportunity as a major benefit for both companies. Goetzcraft customers will gain immediate access to a much broader suite of products and services from a business they trust and respect. And Foresight Group will be able to increase our operational footprint in a market that has become increasingly important.”

The formal merger is effective immediately. Production will be moved to the Foresight Group facility at 5204 Jackson Road. Operational integration is expected to be completed within the next month. For more information, contact Britton Goetz at 734-645-9642 or Bill Christofferson at 517-749-0670.
